KH Coaching Privacy Policy

KH Coaching Inc. (“KH Coaching,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use your information

• To deliver the services you purchase, including writing your documents and running coaching sessions
• To communicate with you about your project, scheduling, and membership
• To process payments and keep business and tax records
• To send occasional updates and career resources, if you’ve opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To understand how the Site is used and improve our services
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your career documents or coaching notes for marketing without your written permission.

3. Who we share it with

We share your information only as needed to run our business:

• Our team. Writers and coaches working on your project, each bound by a confidentiality agreement
• Service providers. Companies that help us operate, such as our client portal and CRM, payment processor, email and scheduling tools, and website host. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Gift purchasers. If someone purchased services for you, we tell them only that the gift was redeemed, never your documents or career details.
• Legal requirements. When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of KH Coaching, our clients, or others
• Business transfers. If KH Coaching is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your client file for 2 years after your final documents are delivered, then securely delete it. If you’re a KH Alumni Circle or Executive Advisory Partnership member, we keep your file while your membership is active and for 2 years after it ends. We keep payment and tax records for as long as the law requires.

5. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct information that’s inaccurate
• Delete your information, unless we’re required to keep it
• Stop sending you marketing emails (or use the unsubscribe link in any email)

To make a request, email kate@khcoachinginc.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we’ll honor those requests as required.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the Site working and to understand how it’s used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work without them.

7. How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure, access-controlled systems for client files. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Services for clients under 18 must be purchased by a parent or guardian, or by someone with their permission. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify clients by email.
